This season Diego collaborates as assistant conductor at the Teatro Real with Josep Pons in "The Turn of the Screw" by B. Britten (November 2010) and Paul Daniel in "Król Roger"by K. Szymanowsky (April-May 2011).
He has worked with Diego Masson in 2009 and 2010 at the Dartington International Summer School (UK) performing "Madama Butterfly" by Puccini and "Le nozze di Figaro" by Mozart at the Dartington Great Hall with the DFO.
He was selected to take part at the young conductors scheme of the "London Sinfonietta Academy 2010" and performed the world premiere of the melodrame " Die Träumenden Knaben" by Torsten Rasch at the "The Two Moors Festival 2009" (UK), collaborating with Anssi Karttunen and Andreas Haefliger.
He gained his "Master of arts in conducting" in 2006 at the Hochschule für Musik Zürich (Switzerland) and worked as assistant director of the French director Nicolas Chalvin in operatic productions" Le Nez " by D. Schostakovitch at the Opera de Nantes-Angers (France) and "Carmen" by G. Bizet at the Opera de Lausanne.
He has conducted in Switzerland, France, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Liechtenstein, Spain and the UK.
In 2010 creates his own contemporary music group in Galicia, where he comes from, the Taller Atlántico Contemporáneo (TAC). www.tallerac.com
