Born in Galica, Spain, focusses his interest in the piano music of the 20th and 21st centuries

After studying in A Coruña Conservatory (Natalia Lamas) and Vilaseca, Tarragona (Cecilio Tieles) he was from 1990 to 1995 pupil of Peter Efler in the Musik-Akademie der Stadt Basel, Switzerland, where he received the Konzertreifediplom (Performance Diplom).
He won the International Piano Competition “Xabier Montsalvatge”, Girona, for 20th Century piano music,
and the National Piano Competition “Gregorio Baudot”, Ferrol, where he was awarded the Premio Galicia, for the best performance of a piece by a Galician Composer.
Concerts in Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, Cuba, England, USA, and Letonia.
Piano teacher at Vigo Conservatory since 1996. He leads the Contemporary Piano Music Class. Also at Lucena Summer School for talented young pianists (2001).
He recorded the Sonatas and Interludes of John Cage for the Radio Galega, organized the I John Cage Festival at Museum of Modern  Art (MARCO), Vigo and completed his PhD (on John Cage´s Solo for Piano) at the University of Vigo under the direction of Mercedes Suárez, Pedro Membiela and Nancy Lee Harper).

In 2005 he attended the Stockhausen Courses in Kuerten, Germany.
In 2009 he worked with Margaret Leng Tan on the Concerto for Prepred Paino and Chamber Orchestra by Cage
